It's Augtober!!! Break Out the Halloween Stuff!!

Not sure where the summer went and as crazy as it sounds, Christmas isn’t far off. School starts next week, suddenly September is gone, kids just ate all the Halloween candy and soon thereafter there’s a turkey in the oven making the house smell amazing then suddenly you’re putting out milk and cookies!!

Dang!

You can go ahead with the Halloween decor!

Last year I was making horror character silhouettes. It started with Fred, then a few of his friends joined in. And before I knew it, i was designing more and more and more.... Majority of them are cut from photos and adjusted and combined with others to make it all work, I only purchased a couple files in the beginning but most of those were modified. Some of them took me hours to design. Some of them were 3 or 4 photos combined, plus my own edits and adjustments. I believe I made 32 of them.

One of them took forever. Mostly because I just couldn't figure her out. I kept changing and adjusting and trying to capture her spirit... or lack there of. I couldn't do it. So I left her behind.

A few weeks later I stumbled upon her pieces. She was a wreck. Just a mess of sections and pieces and cut outs from so many things. I had forgotten about her. I gave up on her. But seeing her broken into pieces off to the side in one of my Lightburn files, she stopped me in my tracks. Maybe I could actually bring her to life. So I started trying to put her pieces together... and suddenly she started to come out of that TV just the way I wanted her to. Finally after weeks, she came to life!!! She was the last horror silhouette I designed.

I feel like she was the one who won the creepy contest. I am so glad that I found her and finished her!

So she joined the rest of them. They all ranged from 4" to about 9". I did a few extra big! Fred and Jason made the big time and were cut to about 15". But, I can do that with them all!
