Plants! If y’all know me, whether through socials, out and about or personally, you know I love plants!!!

Leaves on their way to becoming Art

I. LOVE. PLANTS!!! All of them!!! Well, maybe not poison ivy or stinging nettle, but.... I was building my own garden pond at 13 and planting tomatoes (even though I hated them then) and lots of flowers and veggies. Spending almost 25 years in landscaping in all aspects of the industry was mostly driven by plants and art/design. My dream in my younger years was always to have tons of house plants and although one I’ve had since I was 18 (I joke with my husband, Nick, that it’s my longest standing relationship), I didn’t really start collecting until I was in my early/mid thirties.

Now, here I am at 45, instead of crazy cat lady, I am a crazy plant lady!

Did I mention design?

Art and design and nature have always been my life long loves. And the design aspect of Silva & Ore is one of my fav things to do!!

The picture here is of my laser program, Lightburn. These leaves (sorry they’re upside down) were designed by me from photos. A lot of “tracing” in the program, but I a lot of adjustment and tuning to get them just right. A lot of overlapping. A lot of deleting and redrawing. And a lot of fun. And a lot of time. I designed these to use across the board in many things I create. Sometimes I have to redesign a little for different applications, but all in all, they’re mostly the same. These leaves are unique and you will not find these exact designs anywhere but here.

So if you or someone else has a true love for the plant world, you can find these unique designs only at Silva & Ore!

(and just an fyi... I might just be able to design something with your own plants).
